Proanthocyanidins: Proanthocyanidins (PAC) are secondary plant metabolites. Cranberries contain a high amount of proanthocyanidins. 

Vitamin C: Vitamin C plays a major role in the destruction of so-called "free radicals" and the repair of connective tissue. In case of bone fractures and wounds, vitamin C helps to accelerate recovery. It also improves the absorption of iron. It supports normal function of the immune system.

Oxidative stress: Oxidative stress is caused by so-called "free radicals" and is considered the cause of degenerative aging processes, atherosclerosis (thickening of artery walls), various cardiovascular diseases, and clearly plays a decisive role in the formation of inflammatory joint diseases.
